The Robert James Hall at Comberton Sports and Arts is a large performance centre with the options of electrically retractable tiered seating, a flexible de-mountable stage, professional theatre lighting and sound re-enforcement. We can accommodate 450 seated for theatre-style presentations or 300 banqueting on the flat.
Full height curtains add further flexibility, closing to make the space smaller and more intimate or opening out to welcome larger shows.
Comberton Sports & Arts has an on-site cafe and a bar facility and can be organised to suit all tastes. We can provide a vast array of amenities to support every function including staging, professional dance mats, projector facilities, microphones, cordless microphones as well as the basics of extra chairs and tables to meet all your requirements.
The Robert James Performance Hall comes with an excellent up-to-date lighting and PA system that can be operated by our exceptionally talented in-house technicians. Those who wish to put on their own event can work alongside our experienced event managers, who will be there for you from the start to finish to ensure that every function shines. No gig is too big!
We can also set up online ticket sales via WeGotTickets if required. Public events at CSA will also receive valuable free publicity on our website and social media feeds.
The space is also suitable for wedding receptions, musical and social events, conferences and exhibitions, with ample free parking and easy access to major road links
There is a large foyer and in addition to the on-site cafe/bar, catering can be provided as part of a package, tailored to your exact requirements.
For those requiring even more capacity there is the option to use the first-floor gallery area and/or classrooms, adjacent dance studio and one of the gymnasia. Or these can be hired separately for smaller events.

We welcome visitors with additional needs to Comberton Sports and Arts.
All areas of the complex are wheelchair accessible, with the exception of the first floor Gallery above the Performance Hall lobby.
There are five designated 'Disabled' parking spaces, reserved for the use of permit holders, located directly outside the Performance Hall entrance.
We have two designated toilet facilities suitable for wheelchair users and for visitors with additional requirements. These are situated in the Fitness Centre and the Performance Hall. Please ask at the CSA Reception Desk if you need assistance with location or access.
The Performance Hall is fitted with an Induction Audio Loop facility to improve access and enjoyment for visitors who are hard of hearing.
